THE ROLE
BTG Pactual has recently acquired FIS Private Bank in Luxembourg, now rebranded into BTG Pactual Europe S. A.. As part of this expansion, we are now seeking a Risk Officer on a full-time basis, to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join BTG at a time of growth and expansion. This role is a key part of the finance team and the successful candidate must be flexible and be able to adapt to the daily challenges required to ensure the successful integration of the Luxembourg bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management of relevant risks and opportunities (recording, analysing, controlling and monitoring)
• Carrying out daily monitoring of early warning indicators
• Preparation of reporting for the Management Board and Supervisory Board with recommendations for action on earnings and risk management
• Support in analysing and implementing regulatory changes
• Risk inventory and risk analysis, risk quantification for all material risk types
• Implementation of stress tests, validation and further development of risk models
• Ability to multitask and to work on a wide range of demands / projects, from routine tasks to participating in ad hoc or strategic assignments
• Flexibility to assist with other tasks if required.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Completed Bachelor's degree in a business orientated subject is preferable.
• Professional experience in risk controlling at a bank or in bank-focused auditing or consulting firms would be preferred.
• Self motivated and pro active approach to problem solving
• Strong analytical mindset and a high level of attention to detail
• Motivated, flexible and the ability to work in a small team
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential
• Awareness of the regulatory environment.
