We are seeking a Learning Specialist**As a Learning Specialist you will drive the development and implementation of Learning and Development solutions for business, leadership and technical skills across different functions of the firm.

You will also is responsible for coordinating cross-functional learning initiatives and trainings.

You will be in charge of smooth organization, coordination and follow-up on learning initiatives, as well as building & maintaining learning content tailored to specific learner needs.


Moreover, you will collaborate closely with People & Culture team, the Talent Business Partner for Central Services, Heads of Departments and external vendors to create firm-wide learning programs which are aligned with the strategic priorities of the firm.


What you will be working on:

Planning and coordination of training activities

  • Know and understand the organization strategy and plans, key business targets and KPI's of the different functions and clarify requirements for the training needs, working closely with business and internal teams
  • Provide with advice on learning best practices, design and presenting to the business
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business contacts and stakeholders locally and globally,
  • Support instructors to ensure they are briefed and prepared to deliver their program/sessions
  • Support the Talent Business Partner by leading the discussions with the Heads of departments to identify key talents to enroll them to Milestones programs according to their role, experience, competencies to acquire to grow in their current role and Business & Leadership courses
  • Given opportunities & needs, deliver internal presentations & facilitate learning sessions
  • Produce communication material, maintain, and further develop intranet site, and market internally/externally KPMG Learning offering

Manage learning programs:


  • Closely work with the Talent Business Partner, Heads of Departments, the People Managers and the Business & Leaderships Skills team to develop and implement learning strategies and programs by undertaking learning needs analysis, facilitation, implementation & project management.
  • Monitor and coordinate the program to ensure delivery on time**:coordinate with internal teams (Training Officers, Facilities / IT), including booking and timely cancellation of venues

Enhance user experience, innovate:


  • Provide potential improvement recommendations to facilitators based on evaluation reports to ensure quality of learning solutions
  • Stay up to date on new developments in learning and development practices

Training operations

  • Maintain, update and continuously improve L&D catalogue and offering
  • Maintain accurate data in our Learning Management System and databases
  • Closely work with Training Officers and Procurement to monitor registrations, Purchase Orders, and followup for external and languages courses


  • Compliance

  • Tracking of mandatory trainings
  • Provide with KPIs

What we look for:


  • You hold a Bachelor's / Master's degree in HR, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or any related fields
  • You have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience or L&D experience
  • You have a good undertanding of key issues dominating the market for own business area
  • You are fluent in English (French and/or German are a plus)
  • You have great communication skills
  • You have a good knowledge of and experience with Learning Management Systems and digital learning technologies as well as MS Office suite
  • Having a strong knowledge of Luxembourg laws and regulations related to training, including: Cofunding of training, subsidies, special leaves for training (e.g. CIF, languages), employer recovery of training costs is a plus
  • You have excellent Project Management skills: Organizational and planning skills to manage you own workload and to meet deadlines and objectives in uncertain and ambiguous environment. (project Management qualification is recommended)
  • You have great time management skills
  • You have strong presentation skills
