Your Role...

Conduct desk research on the different topics falling into the scope of the research (AI and criminal law, Eevidence; EU and Council of Europe (CoE) standards on the use of AI in criminal proceedings)
Organise focus groups and interviews with practitioners working in the criminal justice field in selected EU Members States
Disseminate results through scientific publications, workshops and conferences (organize workshops, seminars and the final conference; edit the publication of the research results)
Offer research assistance and coordinate young researchers working in the same field
Ensure that the project website is updated and contains all relevant information
Contribute in preparing further research proposals under the leadership of Prof. Ligeti

Qualifications...

Have a Master degree in Law with specialization in criminal law, criminal procedure or law and technology. Practical experience in criminal law or IT law will be considered an advantage
Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in English; good understanding of a second language and possibly a third language, French or German in particular, would be considered an advantage
Willingness to work in an intercultural and international environment
Curiosity and selfmotivation
Teamoriented
