In order to support the growth of our Sustainability Advisory Services team, we are currently looking for a:Sustainability Senior Advisor (M/F)
You will be joining our Sustainability Advisory Services team as part of larger multinational dynamic consultancy team. You will report to and work closely with the Sustainability Advisory Leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support with client relationships, business development efforts on sustainability and ESG reporting topics;
- Continuous review of relevant sustainability developments (i.e. benchmarking, trends, regulatory);
- Daytoday management of ESG reporting and data projects, specifically on SFDR and CSRD
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders;
- Development of sustainability/ESG compliance and reporting projects;
- Work across a range of industries, particularly in the finance sector, to assist companies in better understanding and implement the sustainability policy and regulatory landscape;
- Be part of a dynamic and growing business line within BDO Luxembourg.
REQUIREMENTS:
If
- You have a Master's degree in Responsible Management, Management, Finance, Economics or comparable professional education in relevant fields;
- You have 3+ years of experience in ESG or financial accounting related roles;
- Sustainability experience in asset management is desirable;
- You have good understanding and knowledge of fundamental ESG frameworks, principles, conventions, regulatory regimes;
- You have good knowledge of ESG reporting and experience working with ESG reporting standards (e.g. CSRD, SFRD, GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD etc.);
- You have an analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and produce clear, concise and organised summaries;
- You communicate easily and can work autonomously as well as part of a team;
- You are fluent in English. French and/or German are desirable;
