For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an:

Group Risk & Compliance - Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer will:

Perform reviews of screening alerts related to PEPs, perform PEP impact assessment and document results;
Perform and document AML/CFT and integrity risk assessment of counterparties and their key persons;
Perform 4eyes controls of data input;
Perform additional due diligence checks, reviews, controls as and when requested;
Draft reports on the outcome of the assessment for the Compliance experts;
Liaise with the 1st Line of Defense if and when requested:
Track progress and contribute to weekly reporting activities.

Profil recherché

University degree, preferably in law, political science, economics, finance;
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in AML/CFT compliance preferably in the banking sector in the EU;
Experience in similar tasks and projects will be an advantage;
Knowledge of standard computer tools and full proficiency in internet searches; knowledge of compliancerelated data bases and screening tools,
Practical approach and ability to understand the operational requirements and priorities
Good communication and writing skills;
Excellent knowledge of English. A good knowledge of French would be an advantage

This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
**Salary ranges between 5,560€ and 7,000€ gross per month, depending on experience.
