TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure efficient material support for Cargolux fleet for both scheduled and unscheduled events.
Supervise planning of spare parts requirements during Heavy Maintenance activity.
Monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure optimum balance between availability and finance.
Coordinate processes through various department to ensure smooth flow of material and information.
Control and supervise the parts cycle count and the year end inventory.
Participate in the parts provisioning.
Guide and supervise the team for Material Planning and the Inventory Control aspects.
Ensure a regular followup on departmental tasks.
Prepare the departmental work schedule.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

Engineering profile or Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or in any other related.
Aviation experience is considered as an advantage.
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
Good analytical skill and proactive.
Team spirit and good communication skill.
Know how to handle complex situation and set up interdepartmental processes.
Experience in managing a small team is a plus.
Fluency in English, written & spoken, any other language will be considered as an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Fulltime, permanent contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
The position demands a regular and fulltime presence. Shift work may be required.
Flexibility may be needed with working hours depending on the urgency of the matter (in accordance with our collective work agreement).
Occasional travel related to onsite support of Aircraft Heavy Maintenance activity may occur.
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
