The International Private Bank (IPB) Treasury team covers the Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) Line of Business (LOB) Treasury activities across EMEA, Asia and Latin America.

These activities include optimization of the IPB balance sheet, ensure compliance with internal and regulatory liquidity and interest risk requirements and supporting the banking business.

The position is based in Luxemburg branch of JP Morgan SE (JPMSE), where you will be primarily working with the senior member of the JPMSE AWM Treasury team and reporting functionally to the Head of IPB Treasury based in Geneva.

You will also be working closely with other LOB treasuries as well as the JPMSE Treasury based in Frankfurt.

This position will provide an opportunity for you to make an impact on the bottom line and provide exposure to senior management.


Job responsibilities:

As a key member of the IPB Treasury team, your will act as the main touch point on treasury topics for the IPB activities booked in JPMSE.

Working closely with our teams in Switzerland, Singapore and the US, you will primarily focus on:

  • Operationally supporting IPB business activity in JPMSE from a LOB treasury standpoint.
  • Providing IPB input for external and internal reporting.
  • Evaluating the liquidity, interest rate and capital requirements of IPB business in the legal entity and assessing the impact of changes in regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Developing plans to implement those changes in IPB balance sheet strategy in the legal entity.
  • Providing business support to tech projects ran by AWM Treasury's Technology team or IPB/Firmwide projects.
  • Supporting wider AWM Treasury scope outside of JPMSE.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics with a quantitative focus.
  • Relevant working experience in a bank or other financial institution preferably in Treasury, Finance, or a similar functions, with an understanding of bank balance sheet and Asset Liability Management(ALM) topics.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent aptitude for numbers.
  • Proactivity and willingness to challenge and improve current processes
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and intellectually demanding environment.
  • Team oriented and strong work ethic.
  • Required technical skills include proficiency in MS Office tools and in particular MS Excel. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Tableau, MS SQL, and Python programming language is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is essential and any additional languages will be a plus.
