- Manage the day-to-day financial accounting operations for the life insurance division.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct detailed analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory purposes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to assist in decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Monitor and evaluate financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
The Successful ApplicantQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or German would be an advantage. What's on Offer
