Tax Specialist International Tax

You will be under the direct supervision of the Group Tax Manager in Luxembourg, extending support to the team across a spectrum of tax advisory and compliance undertakings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Validate the precision of corporate tax filings.
- Evaluate company tax allocations, including deferred taxes.
- Elevate the caliber of tax reporting in consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure conformity with income tax, VAT/GST, WHT, and FATCA stipulations.
- Help during tax audits and when addressing inquiries from authorities.
- Execute and uphold company tax guidelines, regulations, and protocols.
- Analyse worldwide and local tax ramifications for transactions in collaboration with the business development unit.
- Keep abreast of international and EU tax developments, including Pillar II and CBC.
- Provide insights for initiatives involving group restructuring and other undertakings.
- Stay informed about shifts in local tax regulations across various operational countries and provide assessments of their impact.
- Collaborate with the Legal team to formulate tax clauses for contracts with external clients.
- Support the team in revising transfer pricing documentation for affiliated entities within the consortium.
Qualifications and Profile:
- Possess a Master's degree in economics, law, finance, or a related field, with a preferable emphasis on Tax.
- Demonstrate 46 years of experience in International Corporate Tax, preferably within notable firms like Big 4, Fiduciary, or equivalents, supplemented by exposure to the FinTech sector for added advantage.
- Solid comprehension of International and European tax principles, encompassing transfer pricing, Pillar II, CBC reporting, and tax accounting.
- Fluency in English; mandatory proficiency in French.
- Adaptability to handling tax compliance in overseas jurisdictions with requisite reporting obligations.
- Possess adept organizational skills for effective multitasking.
- Competent in excelling within an international, cooperative environment involving diverse teams.
- Proficient in research, analysis, and autonomous work.
