We are seeking for a Business Continuity Expert.
The Business Continuity Expert is a reference figure for the whole firm. Role Holder shall have gained experience in business continuity through years of practice. He must be able to interact with all levels of the organization and with the management.

It is important that this professional figure at hierarchical level covers a position appropriate to his responsiilities and the role he is required to excercise and that he has a transversal knowledge of the business service lines.

The Business Continuity Expert shall be seen as an expert in regards of business continuity and as an internal adviser in any business resilience questions and planning.


What you will be working on
- responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the firm's Business Continuity Management programme and framework.
- ensure the success of business continuity activities, e.g. ensure that BCMS objectives, plans, roles, responsibilities, and competencies for business continuity management are established
- promote the culture of operational continuity in the organization, e.g. with organizing relevant trainings for the CMT, Heads of Department and the respective BCC ́s
- provide regularly adequate information on the performance of the business continuity system and any interventions and improvement actions carried out and to be performed.
- coordinate the phases of the business continuity management system facilitating reflection to identify the organization's priority services, processes and activities. Stimulate the analysis of what the impacts would be in the event of interruptions to these services, processes, and activities
- coordinates the Business Impact Analyses (BIA),
- assists Incident Response, Crisis Management & Recovery exercises.
- ensures compliance of the Crisis Management Plan (CMP) and the function specific Incident Response Plans (IRP) with the central policy both in content of plan and related training and exercising
- monitor the continuous and punctual updating of all documentation relating to the business continuity system, e.g. accountable for the content, maintenance, version control and distribution of the BCM-related policies
- support the management in making decisions by illustrating to all the solutions planned and documented in the plans.

  • Liaise with Internal Audit as SME for BCMS, coordinate delivery for Internal audit, track findings and improvement plans.
  • Act as the SME for BCMS on due diligence or any external or internal request.

What we look for

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT or Business Management.
  • Good Knowledge of Business continuity related standards such as ISO22301and related; BS11200 or any related framework or guidelines used as best practices.
  • Project management skills

  • English is mandatory. French is considered as an asset.
  • Details and results oriented.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively and in diplomatic manner across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
