Background- The role is based in Luxemburg with regular international trips, primarily in Continental Europe- The role is part of the Distribution Oversight Team performing a Distribution Governance / Oversight role for Distribution and conducting oversight on the JAMI EU sales offices- Overall, the role in conjunction with the JAMI Conducting Officer - Distribution and Branch oversight should ensure Distribution Governance and Oversight and Branch oversight is performed in order to fulfil the regulatory requirements from CSSF and ESMA.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution Governance- Perform in conjunction with the regional Sales Support Teams initial and ongoing due diligence, ongoing monitoring on distributors and business introducers + attend to onsite visits. Act as the central point of contact for all distributor due diligence on Group level and be responsible for oversight / support of all activities in relation to distributor due diligence. Monitor the compliance of distributors against MiFID II and other regulatory obligations. Maintain the distribution network database. Develop and maintain reporting tools and controlling procedures for distribution oversight activity. Maintain policies, procedures and processes for the oversight and monitoring of distributors and sales branches. Supervise the distribution and marketing activities of the Company's EU sales branches in terms of regular checks, Market Intelligence and adherence to procedures. Act as a SME in terms of Distribution and branch oversight within the Group. Preparation and production of Distribution oversight due diligence reports, KPIs and management reporting. Work with Technology and key stakeholders to develop automated solutions to enhance and develop distribution oversight activities. Keep well informed on best practices, industry changes and trends that may impact Distribution oversight related activities. Reporting on and providing insights into upcoming regulations, industry and market trends. Oversee the Fund registration service provider.- Support Conducting Officer Distribution and branch oversight- Assist the Conducting Officer Distribution in managing JAMI day to day in terms of Distribution and branch oversight activities. Generate reporting on the activities of all the JAMI branches, and the Distribution channels, the countries of distributions and the results of the initial and ongoing due diligence performed on distributors. Support the Conducting Officer Distribution with all interaction with the regulator in relation to Marketing and Distribution aspects of the Company.
Support the Client Group- In conjunction with Legal, Compliance and TA Operations, review and prepare for execution distribution arrangements, ensuring that all 3rd party arrangements remain compliant with relevant regulation.- Develop relationships with key internal service providers (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Product Structuring and Client Group) to ensure a co-ordinated implementation of service deliverables outlined in distributor agreements.- Make recommendations for the improvement of the delivery of service; either through system or operational changes and efficiencies.- Coordinating support processes to ensure a smooth sales operations at the European Sales Branches.- Implement instructions to ensures the European Branches meet operational and service requirements for all clients both on a day to day basis and accommodating future plans.- Coordinate Fund registration and maintenance projects with internal and external stakeholders.- Manage relationships with Global fund distribution platforms from an operational perspective.- Act as an adviser and facilitator to the business.

Desired Skills / Experience- At least 3-5 years experience at a law firm, Big 4 or management company in supporting Fund distribution activities- Proven experience in cross border Funds distribution and registration- You have good knowledge and understanding of the Luxembourg AML/CFT and fund distribution regulatory framework- Strong team player with proven abil
