    About the Role:


    Ferrero Luxembourg Headquarters is seeking a Consumer & Shopper Understanding Specialist to join the Kinder Consumer Research team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving consumer insights, data analysis and experimental projects at the point-of-sale to inform and optimize the development and marketing of Ferrero's product offering in the chocolate eggs & seasonal product categories.

    Main Responsibilities:


    CONSUMER & SHOPPER INSIGHTS:

    Covering this role, you will utilize a variety of research methodologies to gather, analyze, and interpret consumer insights related to Ferrero's and competitors' products and strategy in the category. You will also stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer preferences.

    You will translate findings into actionable recommendations for product development and marketing strategies and coordinate seasonal research projects conducted at the point-of-sale (market test) in key geographies.

    Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with external research and consultancy partners to enhance the depth and breadth of consumer understanding resources.

    COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION:

    You will facilitate effective communication and coordination among different departments and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless flow of information and alignment of goals. Moreover, you will present consumer insights and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

    PLANNING & BUDGET MANAGEMENT:

    As a Consumer & Shopper Understanding Specialist you will define the best set of activities (research funnel) to answer the relevant business questions & adapt if necessary. On top of this, you will participate in the process of budget definition & monitoring regarding market research activities of the category.

    Lastly, you will work in cooperation with Marketing, Other Consumer & Shopper Research Functions, Sales, Controlling, External Research Providers

    Who we are looking for:


    You will bring knowledge from a degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Psychology or a related field, combined with 3-5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related roles, preferably in the consumer goods or confectionery industry.

    Your excellent interpersonal, communication and coordination skills will prove valuable, as will your ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

    Additionally, you will succeed in this role thanks to your international exposure and familiarity with different cultural contexts. Lastly, you will utilize your capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
