About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate Director to join our team at Axis. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of investment projects, providing tax guidance and advice to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to conduct tax due diligence on new acquisitions and disposals, ensuring seamless integration and minimizing tax liabilities.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including finance and investment, to drive business growth and profitability.
• Review and analyze tax implications of acquisition and sale documentation, providing expert advice to inform investment decisions.
• Design and implement tax-efficient structures for equity contributions and repatriation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide tax intelligence and insights to anticipate regulatory changes and drive strategic restructuring initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Tax, Economics, Finance, or Business Law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax transactions, preferably within an investment management company, consulting firm, or accounting firm.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proactive, rigorous, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
