Anderson Wise is delighted to present this exciting opportunity for aspiring finance professionals with an energetic attitude to utilise and develop their skill set and experience by joining a leading global Investment Firm covering private equity, real assets, and credit strategies.


You will join the Luxembourg finance team supporting the real assets team, where you will report directly to the Manager.

In this position, you will have regular exposure to the organisation's European and US offices working in a fast-paced environment.

Your daily activities will include the review of accounting and providing support and analysis on everything related to the day-to-day transactions of various investments moving throughout the structure.


Your Responsibilities

  • Review of financial statements prepared by external accounting services.
  • Effectively liaise and communicate with the legal team in Luxembourg to share information in relation to operations, as well as ensure the external accounting servicer can comprehend legal documentation supporting investment transactions.
  • Preparation of distribution templates (including debt instrument redemptions calculations and shares redemption calculations)
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of the indirect and direct tax returns prepared by external tax advisors.
  • Review invoices before submitting them for payment.
  • Recording of daily bookkeeping and processing of payments and deal related cash flows.
  • Assist the manager with specific tasks, including investment structuring and deal closings.
  • Work on monthly reporting to the US Team based in Washington DC and on the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Preparation of periodic reporting to the Luxembourg central bank and CSSF.
  • Coordinating and dealing with yearend audits under the supervision of the manager.
  • Intercompany account reconciliation.
  • Review the daytoday operations of companies and answer controllers' requests.
  • Be an important link between management and junior staff.
  • Be responsible for the quality of the work and documents produced and submitted for management review.
  • Coach and supervise the daily work of junior staff.
  • Assist in a wide variety of projects as assigned.

Your Profile

  • University degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting and legal environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and detail oriented.
  • Fluent in English, French or German, a plus.
  • Knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Use of common sense and a handson approach in solving problems.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multitask and produce high quality work even when working within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to meet adhoc requests from multiple people.
  • Energetic, passionate, and positive cando attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
