We are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist who wants to evolve in a hi-tech environment where the projects are varied, and the view is global.

As a tax specialist, you will support the company in all tax advisory and compliance matters and work with various teams (i.e., Finance and other Operational departments).

You'll need to be able to work on international tax and local tax regulations of various countries (notably located in the APAC region) including direct and indirect tax and will need to have a good understanding of the transfer pricing principles.

• Review of the corporate tax returns,
• Review of the company's tax provisions including deferred tax,
• Review and enhance tax reporting included as part of the consolidated accounts,
• Make sure that Murex meets corporate income tax, VAT/GST, WHT, FATCA compliance obligations by tracking all filings obligations, reviewing and preparing them in collaboration with the regional Finance team,
• Assist the team in any tax audit or request from tax authorities,
• Work with the FP&A team to build up the tax provisions as part of the budget and forecasts.

• Assist in implementation and enforce the company's tax policies, rules, procedures and principles,
• Assist business development team in analyzing international and local tax implications relating to the conclusion of a transaction and work with Legal team to draft tax clauses included in thirdparty customers' contracts,
• Assist the company on any group restructuring and projects,
• Follow tax developments internationally and in the EU (e.g., Pillar II, CBC etc.), provide analysis of the potential tax implications for Murex and prepare the implementation of a CbyC reporting and prepare Pillar II implementation,
• Keep track of local tax legislative changes in various countries in which we operate and provide analysis of the potential impacts the company.

• Assist the team to update the transfer pricing documentation of the affiliates of the group.

• Master's in economics/law/finance or from a business school, ideally with a specialization in Tax;
• 35 years of experience in an International Corporate Tax role with a Big 4, Fiduciary or International Group;
• Previous experience in the software industry is a plus;
• Strong knowledge of International and European tax principles including transfer pricing, Pillar II and CBC reporting, as well as in tax accounting matters;
• Good knowledge of APAC tax environment is a plus;
• Willingness to learn and master tax compliance matters in foreign jurisdictions where the company has reporting obligations;
• Excellent research, analytical and reasoning skills;
• Proactive and autonomous;
• Ability to work in an international environment;
• Ability to cooperate with colleagues from all levels and from different teams within the organization;
• Organized, flexible and able to manage several files at the same time;
• Fluent in French and English.
