    The SEI Luxembourg team ("SEI Lux") is seeking a Depositary Specialist. SEI Lux provides depositary services to Luxembourg domiciled funds ensuring that the funds are managed in compliance with regulatory requirements and funds' constitutional documents.
    The Specialist will liaise with Investment Managers, Global Custodians, Prime Brokers, and Administrators on an ongoing basis. The individual must be self-motivated, goal orientated and can manage multiple tasks concurrently and within predetermined deadlines. This position reports to the Head of Depositary and is an opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain exposure to all areas of depositary and fund administration with a leading global service provider.

    This position may be eligible to be performed in a hybrid fashion (in the office 3 or more days/week, and from a home office up to 2 days/week), within any applicable tax and social security limits for cross-border work.

    What you will do:
    The candidate will be required to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that SEI and its clients are in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Prepare compliance and NAV reviews in accordance with the Depositary's policies and procedures.

    • Perform and review cash-flow monitoring

    • Perform asset verification checks

    • Liaise with the global sub-custodians, administrator and prime brokers, as required

    • Meet deliverables and deadlines

    • Participate in new fund launches

    • Participate in annual due diligence oversight program of administrators, sub-custodians and AIFM and UCI managers

    • Participate in internal audit reviews

    • Ad-hoc tasks / projects as required

    • Develop and maintain strong business relationship with colleagues

    • Assist with training and development of analysts within the team

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues within our Group


    What we need from you:

    • 5+ years' experience with depositary services in alternative investments/hedge funds, ideally with private equity/private debt

    • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines to meet strict deadlines, prioritizing work and maximizing efficiencies to manage time

    • Business Fluency in English

    • P.C. proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.

    What we would like from you:

    • Third level qualification, preferably in Finance or related field

    • Proven Oversight skills, including experience overseeing and monitoring delegates.

    • Project management experience, including strong organizational and administrative skills

    • Knowledge and expertise of the FIS Investran and/or Advent Geneva systems

    • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering requirements

    • Initiative and ownership of assigned deliverables and responsibilities

    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

    • Keen critical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills

    • Fluency in foreign language (both written and verbal) an advantage
