To sustain the company ́s growth, we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant (M/F/x) for a permanent contract in order to.

Our client is an industrial company, present in 7 countries and having around 240 stores in Europe. In the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, they are located in Windhof.
In your role of Junior Accountant, you will work within a finance team of 8 people.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
Create invoices and maintain customer records according to company practices for ancillary income
Provide internal support towards the sales organization
Prepare general ledger operations and journal entries
Liaise with external service providers to ensure the smooth execution of you daily duties (e.g. banks, collection agencies, payment service providers)
Assist in the preparation of the reconciliation files (e.g. cash in transit, suspense accounts)
Support with monthly closings (e.g. accruals, prepaid expenses)
Assist with accounts payable (e.g. coding of invoices, review AP balances)
Accompany with the preparation of the internal and external audit process
Organize and follow up the archives of the accounting department
