The Role & Key Responsibilities


Be responsible for managing a growing portfolio of clients and offering to the entire client portfolio a high level of services.

The position will also be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities.

Provide direction to the relevant department/function. Maintains a satisfactory relationship with regulators, auditors and any other interested internal/external parties. Ensure that the company achieves, or exceeds, Business Plan working capital requirements and profitability

  • Prepare the client service offer in collaboration with BUD and BD to ensure that services are accurately described and priced.
  • Properly onboard each new client from the first contact to the operational setup.
  • Establish and maintain positive client relationships from an operational and strategic perspective.
  • Identify opportunities to obtain additional revenues within the assigned client account.
  • Effectively manage the working capital requirements of the business, including billing of the recurrent /nonrecurrent fees and WIP, avoid any receivable of more than 120 days and avoid any WIP of more than 90 days.
  • Take ownership of any escalated client needs/request/issues.
  • Produce periodic reporting to the Managing Director on current health and profitability of clients, including any risks.
  • Ensure that the client structures respect at any time Risk and Compliance laws and procedures.
  • Ensure that Apex Services are properly managed to ensure the company and clients are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate and expand existing business relationships through frequent communication, including formal and informal meetings and client visits.
  • Ensure that service agreement is in line with the service delivered by Apex Corporate Services and that the invoicing occurs in a timely manner and is aligned with the service agreement and the service delivered by Apex Corporate Services.
  • Manage on a regular basis with Business Unit Directors the client's specific requirements.
  • Assist in the periodic Compliance file review by producing for each client entity under management the relevant up to date information that demonstrates our understanding of the client, the transactions and client structure (including UBO). Provide for personal assessment on the risk profile (as per the Apex Risk Profile), tax structuring aspect (as per the Apex Guidelines as well as any other guideline or regulation considered to be relevant and applicable to the client file) and on the transactional monitoring aspect of a client entity structure, when so requested by the Compliance Department.

Skills Required:


  • Master Degree in law, tax or business administration, or equivalent level of training and experience.
  • 10 years of work experience in a corporate, legal and/or tax related environment or other relevant professional experience.
  • Proven advanced level of relationship building.
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong understanding of accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg contracts and financing agreements.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
