Aztec Group is Europe's largest independent fund administrator, with an ambition to become a major global outsourcing specialist in the private markets industry.

The marketing team will continue to play a critical role in helping the Group achieve this vision; working directly alongside senior stakeholders within the business to shape and steer the next stage of our exciting journey.


As such, we are looking for an experienced marketing professional to provide strategic marketing expertise to the business and play a leading role in the creation and delivery of our Go-To-Market strategies and broader Group Marketing Plan and oversee their successful execution.

Key responsibilities:


  • Build and implement integrated marketing strategies and tactical plans for key target segments, growth opportunities and product launches
  • Develop, manage and maintain client value propositions and associated messaging in partnership with the business development team, asset class leads and technical specialists
  • Create and manage a suite of marketing tools and sales collateral; working alongside our inhouse content, design and wider Markets team, as well as agencies and other third parties as required
  • Develop, implement and oversee marketing campaigns, assuming responsibility for their successful delivery across multiple channels and in line with agreed goals and metrics
  • Build and manage key industry relationships on which the execution of our marketing plan is dependent, including media and commercial partners, conference organisers and industry bodies
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase brand awareness and raise the profile of business developers and other key stakeholders in priority markets
  • Monitor the competitor landscape; maintaining awareness of competitor marketing activities and positioning in the market, while identifying opportunities for differentiation
  • Monitor and identify trends and developments across key segments and markets, drawing on this knowledge to propose thought leadership and other opportunities to share industry insight
  • Manage a core programme of marketing activities and initiatives as set out in the strategy, including events and sponsorships, campaigns, company profiles, advertising and all other promotional activities
  • Report on the effectiveness and ROI of marketing initiatives and propose recommendations for future improvement
  • Support Groupwide marketing initiatives as required
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and creative agencies

Skills, knowledge, expertise:


  • Demonstrable previous marketing experience
  • A good level of financial and commercial knowledge supported by a relevant professional qualification
  • Previous experience in writing marketing strategies and plans
  • Track record in the creation and implementation of effective promotional plans and campaigns
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of people and to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships
  • Competencies in team dynamics by leading and motivating to obtain desired results
  • Strong technical skills including:
  • Strong understanding of marketing, business development and commercialisation
  • Excellent ability to identify key targets, formalise messages and write clear communications
  • Firstrate budgeting and analytical skills
  • Computer literacy and word processing skills are essential
