Logistics Setup Management


You will design, define the Logistics flows to supply the customer plants following their protocol Logistics (transportation mode/ EDI ).

Sometimes a third party will be integrated on the flow design mainly for dedicated activities as subcontracting, sequencing, etc. Moreover, following the internal production constraints, you will design the intermediate layout flow (WIP) in collaboration with others Departments.

Consequently, you will manage this entire Logistics implementation through a project management where several interlocutors will be involved.

Moreover, you will be in charge to manage the projects which are End of Life cycle and by consequence review the setup (MOQ, orders...


Optimization of Process Supply Chain


Following your flow study based on Value Stream Mapping (VSM) methodology, you should be able to identify and highlight the potential opportunities to streamline our Supply Chain.

Then, you will lead the implementation of a PULL project through our Production lines until the suppliers.


Then, the implementation of a new production line will follow your recommendations based on your detailed flow analysis and macro-layout/ micro-layout analysis (material flow/ one piece flow).

Use of LEAN tools will be one of your main activity driver.

You will support the different entities of the supply-chain Department to optimize their own processes.


Cost Logistics Optimization
The focus will be to identify cost improvements in the supply chain:

  • Inbound logistics (suppliers transportation): challenge the current incoterms or design milk-run opportunities, etc.
  • Internal logistics: storage/material movement improvement with the deployment of AGV or others technologies
Moreover, your will support our Sales Department on the Logistics cost calculation following their requests for quotation.

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain
  • Have background in Logistics project management and flow engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a Supply Chain activity
  • Have LEAN background and experience
  • Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
  • MRP (ERP) experience required
  • Professional (APICS, CPIM) certification prefered
  • Business fluency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Handson approach to problem solving and analysis
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Ability to listen to all levels of coworkers while they describe problems with the process and then effectively communicate to them possible solutions
