The IT-X-HD unit is a team dedicated to providing IT and data analysis solutions for researchers and principal investigators (PIs) at the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH). By joining our fast-growing team, you will be involved in projects concerning data management, medical and public health research, and various other support activities with our national partners.

As a .Net Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Developing and maintaining IT solutions for different projects, such as epidemiological studies, registries, or cohorts,
• Working in close collaboration with the rest of the IT team and our internal partners, with our vast set of expertise, to provide useful and sustainable solutions to support our research activities,
• Developing your skills and experience to propose methods and solutions to implement the LIH IT strategy and goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop well-designed, testable, efficient, reliable, and clean code
• Ensure on-schedule delivery of high-quality products that meet the technical and business requirements
• Ensure the maintenance of the software after its implementation
• Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices, including our internal continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodology (e.g. static source code analysis, vulnerabilities scanning)
• Analyse and recommend technical solutions highlighting the advantages and inconveniences of different technological options, to support long-term planning of IT frameworks used in the team
• Work in close collaboration with the different support and platform teams when needed

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology
• Solution-oriented and pragmatic, autonomous
• Good organizational and relational skills, precision, ability to manage an important workload and respect deadlines
• Language skills: fluent in English (written and oral)

Mandatory skills

• Previous professional experience of 1-3 years in a similar position
• Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies
• Knowledge of at least one major UI Framework (Angular, React, Vue, ...)
• RESTful API (ASP.NET, C#)
• Knowledge of database and database modeling (MS SQL Server)
  

Considered as an asset

• Previous experience with Ionic, CapacitorJS, WPF
• Environmental tools such as Git, Gitlab, Jira, Docker
• Familiar with Project Management methodologies such as Agile/SCRUM
• Languages: fluent in French and/or German
