Within the Operations & Finance Department of Eurizon Capital SA, we are looking for an intern to join the Collateral Management team, with a solid economic background and a strong motivation.

The ideal candidate has a degree in economics, finance, and/or statistics; is curious, proactive, and able to clearly communicate complex analyses. The insertion will take place in a highly collaborative context, with direct exposure to decision-making processes.

Activities

• Performs the daily margining of assigned Agreements/Relationships
• Contacts the counterparts to agree on margin calls within the prescribed time frame
• Manages and controls the settlement cycle of the collateral related transactions
• Maintains eligibility criteria and customer account master static data as per terms of CSAs
• Reconciles the OTC MTM, Minimum Thresholds and resulting Collateral calls
• Produces reporting of collateral activity performed

What you will learn

• Perform the daily margin management for the funds served, related to OTC non cleared derivatives. The primary role is mitigation of credit risk through the determination and calling for margins on a portfolio level.

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics, finance and/or statistics;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Rigour, method and proactivity
• Excellent command of Excel and the Office package;
• Excellent knowledge of English; other languages are an added value;

Selection

The selection process is divided in two phases: you will carry out a remote interview and, if successful, we will invite you to an interview with colleagues from the concerned structure. In any case, you will receive feedback regarding your application.
