This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the continued growth of Gen II and become a key member of our team, involved in developing the business.


The role sits within the Luxembourg HR Team, reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Manager of the European Gen II Office.


Job Purpose

  • To provide a reliable, supportive, and proactive payroll and benefits service to the business, promoting best practice in all areas and maintaining high levels of confidentiality and accuracy.
  • To promote a cohesive central HR function offering across our European offices.
  • To ensure the smooth running of all HR compensation and benefits administration activities and to support the HR Manager in delivering the team's goals.
  • To provide support to other HR team members and to deputise for the Compensation & Benefits Manager, in their absence.

Key Result Areas

  • To provide proactive and confidential compensation and benefits administration to our European offices.
  • Act as a key role with the monthly payroll processing and checking procedures across all European office locations.
  • Ownership and oversight of relationship management with third party providers.
  • Provide an excellent level of administration services in line with GenII standards, procedures, and guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role may include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks which we call 'Defined Business Activities'.

The list of defined business activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time:


Compensation Administration

  • Accurately input and selfcheck the monthly administration of the European payrolls and conduct thorough report reviews. The split of jurisdictional payrolls between Supervisor and Senior Officer can be agreed internally between the team and may vary from time to time, however flexibility for covering and further learning should be expected.
  • Take responsibility for Luxembourg payroll input/reports and provide support to Compensation & Benefits Senior Officer, as required.
  • Take responsibility for the management and coordination of all jurisdiction's payrolls monthly processing timeline. Escalate concerns or delays as soon as possible to Compensation & Benefits Manager. Take a lead in coordinating the monthly payroll deadlines amongst the wider HR team.
  • Provide support and act as first contact for complex payroll queries raised internally or externally, respond in a professional and timely manner. Provide ongoing learning and development opportunities to the wider team through shared learning opportunities.
  • Complete monthly quality checks of the payroll reports prior to internal or external circulation. Ensure that data reporting adheres to current data protection requirements. Ensure that data shared is accurate and appropriate for the recipient.

Benefit Administration

  • Review existing benefits against benchmark and propose changes, to remain relevant within the sector in terms of EVP.
  • Independently respond and resolve benefit queries for your jurisdictional remit from employees in a timely manner. Assist and support Compensation & Benefits Senior Officer with any other complex queries.
  • Act as first point of contact with benefit providers and take ownership for escalation of queries. Conduct annual reconciliations of benefit providers and assist with analysing against current market.
  • Assist with complex weekly and monthly administration of European employee benefit schemes.
  • Take ownership for the accurate data management of benefit portals including joiners, changes and leavers, through regular reporting and final checks. Provide accurately and timely benefit administration for split jurisdictional remit.
  • Ensuring that all data on the HR database is accurate and up to date at all times. Responsibility for regular data checks and accuracy monitoring to compare against payroll.

Ad Hoc Administration

  • Respond and resolve to payroll audit queries with the support from the wider team for jurisdictional remit.
  • Keep up to date with relevant regulations/legislation and determine the impact of any changes, taking action to implement changes where necessary or provide recommendations to Compensation & Benefits Manager.
  • Identify efficiencies in payroll processing and documentation management for monthly payroll processing and record management.
  • Assist the wider HR team with HR related projects, when required.
  • Take on ad hoc tasks to support the Compensation and Benefits team during any periods of change.

Deputising for HR Manager

  • Attending meetings requiring HR input for Compensation and Benefits.
  • Ensuring that Compensation and Benefit team members are managing and prioritising their workload effectively to meet deadline
