    • Monitor the Electrical Power & Thermal subsystems to identify degraded performance, anticipate scenarios, and take appropriate action
    • Develop and maintain tools for evaluating and trending health to maximize satellite safety, availability, and longevity
    • Perform required engineering analyses, modelling of the spacecraft Electrical Power, Thermal subsystems, and Survivability
    • Interface with internal and external parties in relation to the responsibilities of the subsystems, such as external Satellite Manufacturers and internal Fleet Development teams
    • Lead projects as required
    • Proactively stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
    • Continuously seek opportunities to expand your knowledge/skill set, as well as for process optimization and improvement

    • Able and willing to meet the needs of a 24x7 on-call environment, which can require out of hours support and response under pressure to contingency situations
    • A valid driver license is essential for on-call support
    • Fluency in English with very good communication skills

    Nice to Have

    • Track record to meet deadlines
    • Experience in satellite engineering and/or operations on Thales, Airbus or Boeing GEO or MEO satellites
    • Knowledge of space radiation environment
