We are seeking an Accountant Supervisor

As an Accountant Supervisor you will bring expertise to the finance department to ensure that the quality, timeliness, completeness of reported figures as well as compliance with accounting and regulations.

What you will be working on

Supervising the STAR-NAV interfaces synchronization
Validation of STAR import on a regular basis
Monthly reconciliation between STAR and NAV
Investigation of interface issues
Supervising parts of the general accounting
Validation of complex OD (prepaid, provisions, visa etc.) during monthly closing
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (excluding suppliers part)
Monthly reconciliation of intercompanies' operations
Regular housekeeping of the accounting
Daily update of the cash trend
Preparation of the monthly balance des paiements for the STATEC
Answering internal queries
Assisting the Accounts Payable team when required
Validation of invoices
Payments review
Others
Be involved in finance projects: automatization of the accounting, process updates,...
Support for the external / internal audit

Other activities and responsibilities, in addition to those mentioned above, may be entrusted with the function holder.

What we look for

You hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields
You have at least 5 years of experience in similar roles
You have solid Accounting knowledge: Lux GAAP, solid tax knowledge and legislation
You are skilled in MS office, particularly Excel
You have a critical mindset
You are a team player
You are fluent in English and French
You are solution and detail oriented
You have the ablity to comply with strict deadlines
