As a member of the Data Protection/Technology Risk Practice, you will be working on a various range of legal, data protection and IT regulation-based topics.


Responsibilities

:


You will be mainly in charge of:

  • Providing legal advice on data protection matters to a wide range of clients from the financial services industry and Fintech sectors.
  • Reviewing and drafting of legal document such as privacy notices and processor contract schedules related to data protection.
  • Drafting and reviewing data protection documentation data protection policies, data retention policies.
  • Drafting of Inventory of Processing Activities.
  • Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessment.
  • Providing data protection awareness trainings on information security risks.
  • Providing legal support on Data Protection/GDPR matters.
  • Carry out assessments using the GDPR (regulation at large), good practice framework such as CARPA (CNPD), local data protection laws, etc.
  • Review of cookies management and drafting of cookies policies
  • Support our team in IT Audit of financial statements, review of Luxembourgish Regulation i.e. Circulars CSSF 12/552, 20/750 and 22/806.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master's in Law in particular, specializing in a field related to technology and data protection.
  • Certification such as IAPP are a plus
  • You have between 2 and 5 years of relevant experiences in a similar working environment or in a law firm handling at least contractual matters.
  • Knowledges and past experiences in Contractual matters (notably IT contracts) or New Technology Laws/GDPR/Data Protection matters is an asset.
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language skills such as German/French will be considered as an asset (but it is not compulsory).
  • You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • You appreciate working in a highly dynamic & international environment.
