    Commercial Lead Luxembourg

    Role description

    Direct and lead the Luxembourg  commercial activities I4G/VMG to maximize revenue potential and to ensure a sustainable/growing business, in line with Pfizer's overall vision, mission and Business Units strategy.

    Leads and motivates a sales team to achieve revenue goals by developing sales strategies, analyzing sales data, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Setting sales targets, conducting sales meetings, monitoring performance, resolving customer issues, and managing sales department budgets&Activities.

    Take the lead in shaping a policy environment that will enable the growth and vitality of Pfizer's and the Pharma industry business interests; build the Company's long term image and reputation through innovative and aligned external and internal communications/CR activities; deliver structured government and stakeholder engagement in line with our local and global strategies.

    Ensure all fiduciary responsibilities as Managing Director of Pfizer GDL.

    Responsibilities

    • Overall  GDL Revenue responsibility and accountability
    • Ensure a highly engaged & committed  team
    • In collaboration with BE & GDL Customer marketer / marketing colleagues, ensure local needs are embedded in brand strategies
    • Identify and maximize new business opportunities (including business development).
    • Close collaboration with Business unit/Group Leads  and relevant marketing heads in establishing appropriate resourcing of the teams
    • Ensure all potential synergies are captured when organizing BeLux events (e.g. cycle meetings/training)
    • Connect and build on existing relationships with external stakeholders. Identify and connect with new  relevant stakeholders where needed. Build the Company's long term image and reputation through innovative and aligned external and internal communications/CR activities across Pfizer's GDL/global footprint; and deliver structured government and stakeholder engagement and outreach activities which support both local and global priorities
    • Closely collaborate with Belgian Corporate Affairs team in ensuring appropriate representation at IML level; Drive Pfizer external policies within the framework of GDL environment.
    • Lead efforts to support access to Innovative medicines, reducing barriers to entry for new products through ensuring greater awareness of specific therapy area issues and product pipeline among policy makers, legislators, media and politicians in close collaboration with the Belgian country lead team.
    • Close collaboration with internal GDL stakeholders in ensuring all necessary fiduciary responsibilities are fulfilled in line with Pfizer's legal obligations.
    • Motivate and stimulate team members by assessing their ambitions and potential, providing feedback on career development opportunities, developing team spirit and ensuring the development and coaching;
    • Ensure & champion across all lines an Culture & mindset and seek for synergies where appropriate and possible
    • Ensure full compliance in line with Pfizer's blue book policy and local regulations
    • Other tasks as required by the business

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Proven strategic leadership and execution in complex business environments. 
    • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience. 
    • Expertise in people leadership, talent development, and succession planning. 
    • Ability to drive innovation and operational improvement. 
    • Legal: Cross-Border employment (Belgian Resident) Maximum 34 days out of Luxembourg – 3 to 4 days on Luxembourg territory.
