New Exciting Opportunity to join the Waystone Lux Conducting Officers of the
_PSF._

THE ROLE


In this role you will be responsible for working with management of the PSF to ensure an appropriate compliance framework is in place for the business.

The successful individual will develop, lead and promote the compliance strategy for the business. This shall include development and upkeep of Compliance policy, procedures and monitoring programmes.

The individual appointed will assume the role of RC for the PSF and will be appointed as a Conducting Officer of the PSF further down the line with responsibility for Compliance.

The individual will act as the main point of contact for all compliance matters in respect of the PSF with the CSSF.

The individual will work in collaboration with the business to achieve effective Compliance risk management and ensure that the PSF operates within applicable laws and regulations in Luxembourg and in accordance with Waystone Group compliance programs.


The role holder will report the Head of Compliance in Luxembourg

Key Responsibilities:


  • Take responsibility for AML and Compliance matters for Waystone Corporate Services.
  • To act in relevant regulatory roles (act as conducting officer with responsibility for Compliance) discharging those obligations to a high standard and liaise with the relevant external parties as required
  • Lead, develop and implement a Compliance Management Framework and Compliance Strategy for Waystone Corporate Services. that is compliant with laws and regulations and considers the Group risk appetite and Group management framework
  • Review existing AML procedures and update as and when required; working to align standards to groupwide practices
  • Design and implement a robust AML operating model in support of the business and clients
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key stakeholders including regulators, authorities, colleagues, intermediaries, and clients (where appropriate)
  • Act as RC for Waystone Corporate Services
  • Provide the Board of directors with proper compliance reporting and participate in the relevant internal committees.
  • Ensure and provide required AML training and awareness raising measures to the staff in line with group standards
  • Provide excellent levels of compliance management and oversight in line with Waystone Corporate Services compliance standards, procedures, and guidelines (including appropriate monitoring and assurance)
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed annual performance objectives
  • Undertake impact assessments on proposed new regulations, consider, and propose recommendations as to next steps, including the development of training materials
  • Use experience and knowledge to ensure applicable policies and procedures are fit for purposes, identifying changes, and offering solutions
  • Maintain an awareness of likely regulatory change across the jurisdictions that may impact the Group
  • To uphold and always act in accordance with Waystone values and actively encourage promotion of such values

Experience Required:


  • 710 years' relevant finance industry experience
  • AML and Regulatory Compliance; relevant compliance qualifications
  • A few years working at senior level within a professional financial services organisation
  • Deep knowledge of Luxembourg's laws and regulations
