- Review third party valuations, in particular derivatives, collateral as well as timberland and/or renewable energy private equity
- Perform inhouse valuation on private debt investments (at Amortized Cost under IFRS9) and private equity investments (mainly fair value on timberland, RE, financials VC)
- Maintain and update the valuation methodology, policy and procedures
- Perform SPPI tests to decide on the applicable accounting treatment
- Support the Risk function in its annual review of the valuation methodologies
- Interface with local Risk, PM and Compliance functions as well as staff in the wider Finance in Motion Group
- Advise the Business Solutions team on valuation aspects for new businesses
- Organize Valuation Committees
- Advise AIFM Board on all valuation-related matters
- University degree in a relevant field (preferably in economics, finance, law, STEM or business administration)
- Relevant professional experience, preferably in the Luxembourg Fund Industry and in asset management, fund administration, audit of funds or within a law firm
- Experience in and passion for process automation (ideally including some coding skills in SQL and Python/R)
- Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion's mission to do good for people and planet
- Dynamic, authentic, credible team player with entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to cooperate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural context
- Ability to work autonomously in a structured manner
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German is a plus)
- Experience with investments in impact funds and/or emerging markets is considered a strong advantage
