    Position Overview:

    Hillwood Investment Properties (HIP) is seeking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to join its accounting team based in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Fund Controller, this individual will be responsible for helping produce, review and manage the internal and external financial reporting of the company's European (EU) investment funds.

    Responsibilities:

    • Investor Reporting: Assist in overseeing the quarterly financial close and reporting process. This will include liaising with teams across Europe ensuring key deadlines are met. Additionally, the position is responsible for preparation and review of consolidation entries and helping produce fully consolidated financial reports on investment funds under IFRS.

    • NAV & IRR Controls: Maintain NAV calculations and investment performance KPIs such as IRR and Multiple calculations.

    • Audit Coordination: Prepare necessary workpapers to support audit process and liaise with external auditors on issues raised during financial reviews is essential.
    • Service Provider Management: Assist with managing external third-party service providers and reviewing deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
    • Executive Reports: Prepare internal reports on key financial metrics for leadership to assist in decision making.
    • Investor Inquiries: Assist with investor inquiries received on financial reports or accounting data.
    • Daily Operations: Manage capital calls, distributions, intercompany financing and other operational functions.

    Experience and Required Skills:

    • 3–5 Years in Fund Accounting or Audit is required.

    • ACCA, CPA or equivalent designation is strongly preferred.

    • IFRS experience and knowledge required; Lux GAAP and US GAAP familiarity is strongly preferred.
    • Consolidation & Real Estate Fund experience is strongly preferred and a differentiator.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required. JD Edwards and OneStream is a plus.
    • ACCA, CPA or equivalent designation strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving with the ability to interpret complex information to identify patterns, draw conclusions, and develop solutions.
    • Fluency in English required. German, French or Polish is a plus.
