33116For one of our clients, an international Asset Manager we are assisting the recruitment of a position of Fund Compliance Manager position based in Luxembourg.
Our client offers a dynamic working environment within a professional Compliance advisory team based in Luxembourg. Within this position you will have a large exposure within the group providing support for the funds registered in different European geographic locations, both UCITS and AIFM.
This position suites a person that has at least 8 years' + experience working in a fund compliance position in Luxembourg with exposure to both UCITS and AIFM. Moreover, you have strong interpersonal skills and comfortable managing a small team.

Your Responsibilities
The Fund Compliance Manager reports directly to the Head of Compliance based in Luxembourg. You will manage a small team based in Luxembourg.

The focus of the position is on:
Investment Compliance, regulatory interaction / implementation and reporting.

Some of the daytoday responsibilities are:
Give input to product development process
Compliance monitoring: making sure the Funds are in line with the prospectus
Investment restriction monitoring
Investigate active breaches or NAV errors
Working closely with the front office and advise them on the compliance matters
Coordination the CSSF requests
Support the compliance reporting
Work closely with the Head of Compliance on any regulatory chances impacting the business
Management of a small professional team

Your profile

Degree in Business or Legal
You have at least 8+ years' experience working in a fund compliance position in Luxembourg with exposure to both UCITS and AIFM.
You have a good understanding of the operational set up of a Management Company in Luxembourg.
You are fluent in English and French both written and spoken. Any other European language would be considered a benefit.
You have solid experience managing a team
You have strong influencing and negotiation skills
You are a natural team player and the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organisation
