    Your opportunity

    We're currently looking for a (Senior) Sales Manager for the DACH, BENELUX and Nordics region to join our Fiber packaging segment.  In this position, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our top customers across the region, as well as managing a small team of Key Account Managers and Sales Representatives.

    Part of the Fiber packaging sales team, you will report directly to the General Manager for Western Europe and Nordics. The role also works closely with the Sales Manager Southern Europe & France and the Site Manager for our Franeker plant in the Netherlands.

    Where you'll be

    Ideally you will be located at our Franeker site in Netherlands, on a hybrid basis.  However, we may be open to candidates based in either Luxemburg or Germany.
     

    What you'll be doing

    • Identifying and acquiring new clients in line with the guidelines in alignment with the budget and account plans for the region.

    • Expand the product portfolio with existing clients through cross-selling and upselling initiatives, based on the local situation. Implementing value-added initiatives.

    • Innovating commercial approaches to increase customer engagement and satisfaction.

    • Identifying and responding to client needs through regular and strategic interaction.

    • Monitoring and managing opportunities and risks within the customer base.

    • Understanding client strategies, needs and core values to align offerings accordingly.

    • Negotiating client agreements and setting pricing within internally approved guidelines.

    • Establishing and maintaining monthly and annual sales forecasts.

    • Responsible for net sales and profitability for the region.

    • Defining and presenting the 3-Year Plan and annual sales budget for assigned customers.

    • Managing, motivating and mentoring the sales team (3 people)

    What you'll bring to the role

    • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, including people management experience.

    • Experience working for a manufacturing/production company, ideally within the packaging industry.

    • A University degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, organized approach to managing priorities and follow-ups.

    • The ability to operate with high levels of autonomy and proactivity.

    • Resilience, perseverance, and a results-oriented mindset.

    • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong persuasive communication, verbal clarity, and teamwork capability.

    • Fluency in Dutch and English, German would be an advantage.
