Responsibilities:_

  • Creation and maintenance of Bank Accounts, Templates and Counterpart data within the core banking system (RBC).
  • Execute Daily reconciliation and monitor reports, ensuring compliance and adhere to RiverBank callback and Payment Procedure is maintained
  • Process incoming and outgoing payments
  • Reviewing account activity to determine whether any fraudulent activity has occurred
  • Tracking payments to counterparts and vendors and reviewing payment status to identify any issues that may have occurred during processing
  • Investigating errors or other issues with payments received
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers with bank statements or journals of the company's financial institution
  • Preparing reports on accounts payable activity such as delinquencies and exceptions
  • Using systems to upkeep banking data, and using visualization tools to present meaningful data to monitor activities
  • Identify value creation opportunities and regularly participate and contribute to new process developments
  • Partner with technology to deliver key infrastructure projects around payments and operations
  • Identify operational risks and offer solutions to mitigate through process developments
  • Drive best practice across the function and ensure processes are robust, documented, reviewed periodically and followed
  • Ensure payment documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Coordinating with banks, auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders involved in the payment process

Requirements:_

  • 3 years of experience/exposure in working in a high volume data environment
  • Knowledge of banking & treasury data is a strong plus
  • Knowledge in Treasury Management Systems is helpful
  • Strong IT aptitude, with a demonstrable knowledge of data analysis, reporting and management
  • Demonstrable experience in driving change and challenging the status quo
  • Driven to succeed and willingness to take ownership
  • Engaging personality who builds relationships easily
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanour, highly ethical, accountable and work with absolute discretion and professionalism
  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels of the firm
  • Flexible attitude towards a varied and challenging set of deliverables
  • Have interest in improving process efficiency through technology
  • Detail orientated
  • A risk mind‐set with the ability to identify, solve and mitigate perceived risks
  • Swift experience, ISO20022 knowledge
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced, highvolume environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
