Ampacet's global and multidisciplinary teams offer in-depth technical, analytical and color-matching support as well as on-site troubleshooting services and prototyping.

    Founded in 1937, Ampacet operates 25 manufacturing sites in 18 countries. We also have four research and development centers, two in the Americas, one in Europe and another in Asia, and we sell our products in more than 90 countries.

    For our Distribution Center Office based in Dudelange, we are currently looking for a Shipping & DRP Coordinator.

    Primary function:

    Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping & DRP Coordinator is responsible for handling shipping documentation that deals with Europe and exports. He works closely with the workers in the warehouse as well as customer service. He also interacts with internal clients by processing their requests and responding to some of their specific needs. He never has a direct contact with customers.

    In addition to this, the Shipping & DRP Coordinator who is a key position into the Supply Chain, has as goal to transfer and put at sales disposal right volumes at the right time at the right location according to the Distribution rules. He also performs Transfers of RM between the manufacturing locations.

    He is the owner of this matter and the ERP key user for Distribution.

    The Shipping & DRP Coordinator performs various administrative duties

    Responsibilities:

    • Contacts the carriers which have been chosen according to the order's constraints;
    • Processes orders and ensures customer service quality as well as deadlines;
    • Prepares the deliveries documents;
    • Ensures confirmation of orders in the system as soon as loading is done;
    • Follows up the carriage of goods and copes with issues in a timely matter;
    • Stores and archives files;
    • Handles the tasks related to the Export territories (outside CE);
    • Gathers and forwards all the necessary information to the Shipping Supervisor allowing the defined performances follow-up;
    • Sets up a positive and proactive internal communication;
    • Reports any work situation presenting a serious and immediate danger for the employees security or health;
    • Respects and acknowledges safety instructions;
    • Pays attention to the protection of the environment by following up on suggestions proposed by organizations like (list not exhaustive) Ocean Clean Sweep;
    • Performs all other additional projects and duties as assigned by the management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Shipping or similar field;
    • Previous experience in similar area, experience in Export is highly recommended;
    • Fluent in French, good command of English, German is an asset;
    • Good communication skills (both oral and written);
    • Trustworthy and reliable;
    • Rigorous and detail-oriented;
    • Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Pack Office;
    • Knowledge of ISO Shipping procedures;
    • Good analytical skills;
    • Well organized.
