Aug 29, 2023- Marketing - Viking EMEA - HeadquartersViking EMEA is a subsidiary of its parent company Minimax Viking GmbH and is active in the sales and distribution of firefighting products and systems in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Viking EMEA employs over 200 people and has distribution centers in Luxembourg (headquarters), Germany, Sweden, the UK, Italy, Spain, and Turkey.

Several local offices in Romania, Poland, the Netherlands, and Dubai complete the network of our presence in the EMEA region.


We are searching for a self-motivated and outgoing marketing events specialist to assist our organization in delivering phenomenal events that build business relationships, grow sales, and amplify brand awareness.

The event specialist will be responsible for managing the full-scale organization of specialized tradeshows, conferences and multi-day meeting events, conducted both physically and virtually.


Your creativity and resourcefulness in organizing and hosting successful events that meet business objectives will aid us in promoting products, engaging with clients, inspiring confidence in our brand, and communicating brand strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

The position is a temporary reinforcement to the team with the initial term until the end of January, 2024.

As a
Marketing Events Specialist, you will:


  • Be the responsible project manager for dedicated events within Viking EMEA's schedule of tradeshows, conferences and multi-day meeting events
  • Manage event budgets and timelines
  • Research, select and check sites and locations, incl. hotel rooms for company attendees
  • Coordinate logístical elements
  • Organize marketing materials, such as promotional gifts, and create exhibits
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, process payments and invoices
  • Engage with vendors, arrange, coordinate and supervise eventspecific services (e.g. catering, security, setup/ construction)
  • Liaise with company attendees/speakers and prepare briefings
  • Issue postevent reports

Qualifications and experience:


  • Degree in Marketing, PR or relevant
  • Equivalent experience of at least 3 years with personal responsibility for organizing international events for 50+ participants
  • Project management experience with proven capability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Fluency in English
  • Other European languages are a plus
