Description
Responsible for a portfolio of components

  • Manage RFQ, negotiate best conditions and nominate the appropriate suppliers
  • Manage and challenge the subcontracting services
  • Analyze the cost break down components & services and act accordingly
  • Provide Suppliers/ Subcontracting Service cost justification
  • Improve the Cost of the Supply Chain components from subsuppliers to End Supplier
  • Manage Webasto & Customers toolings at suppliers/ subcontractors
  • Being a decision taker during the new project launch on components/ suppliers
  • Setup/ Track and manage Electricity & Gas contracts
  • Followup of the components at preserial production phase until end of production
  • Support our Procurement Team with their supply strategy (safety stock/ consignment.)
  • Work closely with the Quality Suppliers Department to drive our suppliers on our expectations "Excellence"
  • Maintain the purchasing module of the ERP system updated (commercial conditions )
  • Benchmark the market/ the suppliers to highlight opportunities and to keep necessary competition on your portfolios
  • Manage the Engineering Change request issued by Suppliers Service provider
  • Track your KPI's on continuous negotiation and benchmarking
  • Work continuously on cost reduction, savings and reporting
  • Be the single point contact between Supplier and Customer
  • Open to travel
  • Master's degree in business management, Business Administration or purchasing focus required
  • Have technical background or technical understanding
  • 5+ years of experience in a progressive purchasing career
  • Have technical understanding or a technical background
  • Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
  • MRP (ERP) experience required
  • Professional (APICS, CPIM) certification preferred
  • Business fluent in English;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Handson approach to problem solving and analysis
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Ability to listen to all levels of coworkers while they describe problems with the process and then effectively communicate to them possible solutions
