    About Our Client

    Leading Family Office based in Barcelona with global investments

    Job Description

    -Working with professionals across the organization and external advisors, you will evaluate new investment opportunities with external fund managers and will be responsible for delivering investment recommendations.

    -You will host due diligence meetings with external fund managers to understand their investment strategy, their investment judgement, their financial and ethical alignment, as well as how well they have structured their firms.

    -As the main point of contact within the Family Office for external fund managers, you will closely track any developments with existing investments and will report your findings to the rest of the team.

    -You will closely monitor portfolio level performance and risk and will help in the preparation of Investment Committee reports and presentations.

    -You will follow and analyse major investment trends, best practices of other family offices, and the global market environment for our own internal use and for reporting purposes.

    -The position will be within a close-knit team of people who enjoy each other's company, work hard, and have fun together.

    The Successful Applicant

    -University degree required (Business administration, Mathematics, Engineering) with a finance/economics focus.

    -Achieved, or working towards, the CFA designation or equivalent knowledge (MBA or other financially oriented programs).

    -Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    -Bilingual in English and Spanish.

    -At least 5 years of experience within a family office, investment consultancy, fund-of-funds, pension fund, international advisory firm, or similar. Ideally some experience in fund research or portfolio management.

    -Strong quantitative skills with an understanding of key financial and risk metrics.

    -Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.

    -Self-starter, who can work independently with minimal supervision.

    -Team orientated and open to debating and sharing ideas.

    -Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills.

    -Unquestionable ethical standards and personal values (humbleness, discretion, transparency).
