Engine Mechanic - Luxembourg - Cargolux
Description
TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accomplish servicing, repairs and modifications on aircraft engines, thrust reversers and engine components
- Perform routine servicing tasks, tests and modifications on engine and engine components
- Troubleshoot and rectify malfunctions
- Operate ground and shop equipment, according to its approval
- Coordinate task accomplishment with other team members
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship as mechanic
- Minimum 4 years of experience as mechanic in an aviation maintenance environment
- Engine shop experience is an advantage
- Be fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage
- Being openminded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people
- Ability to work in team as well as independently
- Dedicated and reliable
- Have good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full time position, based in Luxembourg
- Willing to work on shifts
- Occasional travel may be required
- Possess a valid driving license
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
