Job summary

As Head of Segment Management, you will lead the strategic direction of all business segments within Hard Material Solutions. Based at our Headquarters in Luxembourg, you and your team will be responsible for defining and driving segment strategies, and ensuring strong alignment between Division targets, customer needs, product applications, and regional execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience and strategic account management background.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and their relevance to customer applications.
• Comfortable understanding and working with financial metrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English required and ideally French - additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leading and collaborating with each Segment Managers, ensuring each segment has a clear strategy and roadmap for growth, profitability, and market leadership.
• Driving segment strategies (applications, pricing models, portfolio positioning) in close alignment with the division's business objectives.
• Collaborating with Regional Sales Heads to ensure consistent execution of segment strategy and support key account development globally.
• Working closely with R&D to align technology roadmaps with segment needs, and with Business Operations to ensure seamless sales processes, KPI tracking, and customer service excellence.
• Identifying market trends, customer opportunities, and competitive risks to continuously strengthen our market position.
