Job summary

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly and yearly financial statements, the Profit & Loss account, the Balance Sheet, the Cash flow statements;
• Capture and reconcile European Intercompany Transactions; (BS + P&L);
• Check the Capital Expenditures monthly;
• Perform analyzes on cost accounting matters, on general accounts, selling prices, key account customers;
• Manage all internal and external Audits;
• Prepare and manage Annual Financial Statements for All European entities and Impairments calculation;
• Work in all projects related to the department including working in collaboration with the ERP team in order to improve the system, install new applications/modules and maintain the database;
• Manage a small team of accountants;

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance;
• At least 8 years' experience in a similar position in the industrial sector in a multicultural environment;
• Strong management skills;
• Good analytical mind;
• Critical mindset;
• Problem solving;
• Stress resistant
• Fluency in English and French;
• Leadership skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Excellent command of computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint,…) and proficiency in JDEdwards;
• Proficient at developing relationships with employees, pears and external consultants;
• Ability to see the overall picture;
