TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of the Technician is to repair, overhaul, and modify engines and engine components in the shop. The tasks of the position's incumbent include:

• Accomplish installation, removal, servicing, and repair of engine components
• Perform routine servicing tasks, tests and modifications on engine and engine components
• Troubleshoot and rectify malfunctions, using specialized test equipment
• Operate ground and shop equipment, according to their approval
• Initiate ordering of parts and components
• Coordinate task accomplishment with other team members

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship as mechanic (CATP/DAP)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as mechanic in an aviation maintenance environment
• Good understanding of schematics, drawings, manuals, and working procedures
• Engine shop experience is considered an advantage
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Open-minded attitude and ability to communicate with diverse groups of people
• Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are considered as an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Full-time position, based in Luxembourg
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
• The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
