Our client is a leading financial institution in Luxembourg, and we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an ICT Risk Officer.

As an ICT Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and resilience of our information and communication technology systems.

As an ICT Risk Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting risk assessments: You will perform comprehensive risk assessments on information systems, networks, and technology processes. This includes identifying potential vulnerabilities, evaluating controls, and recommending risk mitigation measures.
  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies: You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement effective risk management strategies. Your focus will be on minimizing potential risks, enhancing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and reporting: You will establish and maintain monitoring mechanisms to track and analyze key risk indicators. You will prepare regular reports on risk assessment findings, potential vulnerabilities, and recommendations for improvement. Your reports will provide valuable insights to senior management and contribute to strategic decisionmaking.
  • Incident response and disaster recovery: You will contribute to the development and testing of incident response and disaster recovery plans. In the event of a security incident, you will assist in managing the response, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Security awareness and training: You will develop and deliver security awareness programs and training sessions to enhance the organization's overall security posture. These initiatives will promote a culture of security consciousness and ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to mitigate risks effectively.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT risk management, information security, or a related role within the financial industry. Familiarity with international security frameworks (e.g., ISO and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR) is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ICT risk management principles, methodologies, and tools. Proficiency in assessing network security, vulnerability management, data protection, and incident response. Familiarity with cloud computing, mobile security, and emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to analyze complex technical environments, identify potential risks, and provide actionable recommendations. Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams and influencing decisionmaking processes.
  • Integrity and Compliance: High ethical standards and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to information security and data privacy.
