We are seeking a Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager - Asset Management Consulting

Within the AM/AI Regulatory and Risk Consulting team, you will face a diverse range of projects which are often regulatory driven and which span across the entire operations of Management Companies and Alternative Investment Fund Managers.

What you will be working on

  • You will lead and manage client engagements covering all facets of the operations of a ManCo/AIFM e.g. internal controls (risk management, compliance, valuation), portfolio management, management information systems, delegates oversight etc.
  • You accompany our clients in their regulatory driven transformation and licensing initiatives (AIFM license, MiFID Topup etc.). This will cover in particular the target operating model design, regulatory approval process and process implementation.
  • You are commercially minded and are comfortable taking a role in business development / visibility campaigns. You will lead and supervise the production of proposals and other client presentation materials and will be a front figure of visibility initiatives.
  • You will act as Trusted Advisor for the Senior Management of leading players in the Asset Management and Alternative Investment landscape.
  • You will supervise all facets of client engagements, coach and mentor junior colleagues (be a "role model"). You will ensure client satisfaction by providing quality reviews and monitoring engagement economics.
  • You will develop a dedicated business case to contribute to the growth of the Asset Management Consulting Community by becoming a recognized topical and/or market segment owner within the Firm.

What we look for

  • You have a Master's degree in, Economics, Finance, Management or similar fields.
  • You have between 4 and 10 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management or operations in the Financial Services Sector, ideally at a consulting firm or a ManCo/AIFM.
  • You embrace the consulting mindset and fastpaced work environment. You are an "orchestrator" and have the ability to draw a roadmap towards success.
  • You have a business driven, agile and pragmatic mindset allowing you to draw the line between regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • You possess a strong command of fundamental regulatory topics e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF 18/698 etc. You are aware of the areas of regulatory scrutiny and understand main points of market players.
  • You have the necessary soft skills to build relationships with clients and to develop team members.
  • You have a strong command of Microsoft Office tools (esp. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • You are fluent in English. French and/or German would be considered as a strong asset.
