We are seeking a Tax Learning & Development Specialist
Learning and knowledge sharing are crucial to setting KPMG's business on the path to success.


Connecting the dots, converging the right people and the right technologies to ensure an exemplary, effective and signature client experience.

This is one of the core missions of the Tax Technical Team.


What you will be working on
As part of the Tax Technical Team, your role will be twofold.

You will

(i) drive the development and implementation of Learning and Development solutions across the Tax function in line with the strategic priorities of the firm (approx. 50% of your time), and

(ii) support the Tax Technical Team in the tax technical knowledge sharing process (approx. 50% of your time).


Practically, you will act as a trusted learning specialist, providing advice on learning best practices, design and presenting to the tax business.


You will conduct appropriate needs analysis activities with the Tax Learning Coordinators to design and implement the Tax Training Catalogues for all Tax service lines.


You will work closely with the People & Culture Team, mainly Talent Business Partner, People Business Partner and Business & Leadership Skills Team to identity non-tax skills needed and/or to be further developed.


You will seek feedback from training participants & summarize it to key stakeholders and support instructors to ensure they are briefed and prepared to deliver their program/sessions.

You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure training programs are delivered on time.


You will enhance the tax knowledge sharing process by further developing and feeding our internal tax database (selection of appropriate documents, identify tax resource needs of the business teams etc).


You will be responsible for the tax watch by monitoring and sharing relevant tax news and preparing tax update material with the support of other members of the Tax Technical Team.


You will conduct tax research and contribute to the preparation of internal tax technical guidance and other material useful for the tax teams to provide client services.


Last but not least, you will stay up to date on new developments in learning & development and knowledge sharing practices.


What we look for


Previous experience in a professional Tax service line with ability to identify needs and develop Tax technical learning/performance development solutions.


You know and understand the key business targets and priorities of the tax department, in line with the firm's strategy.

You have strong writing skills

You are curious, able to innovate and pragmatic to achieve results.

You have excellent communication and presentation skills.

You are well organized and have strong project management skills.

Knowledge of a Learning Management Systems and digital learning technologies is an asset.

English & French are required, any additional language would be considered as an advantage.
