My client is looking for a
Technical Director to join their team.
About the Role:
On the projects for which you are in charge, you take care of all technical aspects of the projects in close coordination and cooperation with the developer responsible for the project.
Your role is wide and lies at the heart of our business and is of the utmost importance to the Company's results and reputation.
What You'll Do:
During the project design phase (APS, APD and Permits):
- Consult architects and design offices and negotiate related contracts;
- Ensure jointly with the architect and specialized offices, the monitoring of the examination of the various administrative authorization files (Urban Planning, Environment, Operation, Fire Services, etc.);
- Guide and direct architects and design offices, while constantly ensuring the optimization of the project and the optimization of surface areas and more generally the economic optimization of projects;
- Manage and control study planning;
- Obtain the most optimal results in terms of quality/budget,
- Manage the tender procedure with the general contractor or cocontractors.
This task includes tasks such as:
- Analysis of offers;
- The evaluation of proposals or alternative solutions;
- Negotiation and finalization of contracts;
This includes tasks such as:
- Organization of weekly site meetings;
- Monitoring in terms of budget, planning and quality;
- Coordination of companies, where applicable;
- Evaluation of prices for additional work;
- Control of architects and engineers;
- Setting up regular contacts/discussions/negotiations with companies; negotiation and finalization of possible amendments;
- Contribution and support to the Residential Advisory team (for residential projects) for everything relating to purchasing modification works;
- Monitoring and discussion with the client and implementation of possible amendments for everything relating to modifying/additional work relating to projects other than residential;
- Monitoring of provisional and final reception operations with companies;
- Monitoring of reserve lifting operations.
Requirements:
- You have a civil or construction engineering diploma; an economic background is a plus;
- You have a minimum experience of 10 years in a similar function;
- You are rigorous, perseverant, costconscious and a good negotiator;
- You have good organizational skills and know how to manage several tasks/projects in parallel;
- You are communicative and enterprising;
- You have team spirit,
- You think in terms of solutions and are "results" oriented
- You speak French fluently and can work easily in English;
- You master MS Office tools and IT tools for architectural design
