- Propose ideas to develop new solutions in the area of analytics, reporting and AI with regard to the short, medium and long term to ensure that our application systems are in line with business requirements while remaining cost effective
- Establish and manage the resources and means necessary to achieve objectives and implement work plans for projects
- Drive projects, maintenance and support activities to ensure the reliability of applications and best quality customer service (around 1800 end-users across the EIB Group)
- Lead the team and provide coaching and support, this includes managing a team of specialists and external consultants, setting individual objectives, reviewing performance, and providing ongoing feedback
- Manage or participate in special initiatives that go beyond the strict boundaries of own domain and ensure the realisation within the set scope, time and budget
- University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in Information Technology, Mathematics or Finance
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the IT function, particularly in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Data Warehouse, analytics and reporting solutions, gained in the financial services sector
- Experience or proven ability in managing or coaching people, ideally in multicultural environment or international organisation
- Practical experience in installing, configuring, and supporting SAP BI Suite or operating SAP Cloud Analytics or any equivalent tools
- Excellent knowledge of project management principles, methods, and practices
- Very good experience in Data Warehouse modelling and methodologies would be an asset
- Knowledge of service contracts and procurement would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English and/or French , with a good command of the other. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
