TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a competent foreman to lead the avionics shop. The Foreman is overall responsible for the repair, overhaul, modification, inspection and test of electro-mechanical components.

The responsibilities are to:

Supervise and coordinate a team of 15 people (e.g., define priorities, assign tasks)
Ensure adherence to all internal procedures and the use of best practices in the shop
Release components to service by issuing an EASA Form One
Ensure the team members are properly trained and maintain their knowledge
Ensure handovers are given between the shifts and the superiors

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship
Minimum 10 years' experience acquired in an electromechanical component repair/ maintenance environment
Proven experience in people management
Experience in the use of technical manuals, electrical schematics and engineering drawings
Experience in the repair and servicing of electrical mechanical and electronic components
Result oriented with the ability to handle stress, set priorities and meet deadlines
Methodical and organized way of working with high attention to detail
Have good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook; other software will be considered an advantage (e.g., TRAX)
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to handle and resolve conflicts
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages are considered an advantage

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Full time position, based in Luxembourg
Flexibility with working hours
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
