Antonella Gesualdo

My name is Antonella Gesualdo and I would like to pursue a career in public relations, communications and events organization. Indeed, until July 2022 my professional background was entirely focused this sector, before a more business-related experience, in audit.

I would consider myself to be very sociable and reliable, and to have always a positive attitude. I enjoy working with other people in dynamic and international environment, and I really enjoy trying and learning new things.

As for my professional background, I recently terminated my experience as an Audit Associate in the Banking and Securitization industry at PwC Luxembourg, where I dealt with audit tests and client relationship activities for two relevant players of the European banking panorama. This gave me a more in-depth knowledge of the industry and its related processes. Previously, I covered the position of Corporate Affairs Intern for Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg, where I was focused on the management of the external relations of the Bank with its Luxembourgish and European counterparties, such as the local regulators and associations, the ECB, ISP s.p.a., and the Italian Embassy. Through this experience, I have had the chance to improve and test my time management, detail-oriented and relational skills on a daily base, through the management of corporate affairs related activities and the support to the organization of different events in Luxembourg. I have previously been part of different teams. Essential to me has been the Employer Branding and Communication internship experience at the Luiss Career Service office, where I have significantly enhanced my communication and event organization skills. There, I have had the chance to approach several companies and employers, especially banking institutions and financial services providers and, among them, Citi, learning to understand their needs to provide optimal services. As a matter of fact, I do believe that my previous experience in the organization of corporate events, company presentations and career fairs with more than 4000 guests for the Luiss Career Service Office could be relevant in terms of skills needed for this type of career.

Indeed, I do believe that the communication and social strategy of a firm reflects the internal company culture and the reliability of its business. The way in which a crisis is dealt, or the company present itself, is a fundamental driver for the stakeholders and for the credibility of the firm.
