Are you a seasoned professional in financial services with a knack for meticulous organization and client satisfaction? Our esteemed client, a prominent financial services firm, is seeking a Legal Relationship Officer to join their dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance, achieving productivity targets, and fostering client relationships.
-Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Team Manager to understand and implement regulatory requirements, administrative procedures, and operational guidelines consistently.
- Meet and exceed production objectives, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual productivity targets.
- Respect and adhere to team and individual agendas set by the Team Manager.
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicator targets, including the timely filing of annual accounts and tax returns.
- Actively engage in debt recovery efforts to maintain financial stability.
- Mentor and train junior staff members to foster professional development.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding of new clients, overseeing company incorporation and administrative formalities.
- Coordinate interactions with third parties such as advisors, banks, notaries, and authorities.
- Manage client database and oversee all (para)legal aspects of companies, including board meetings and general meetings.
- Facilitate the handover of client files to the accounting team and ensure timely production of annual accounts.
- Monitor and address client's tax situations in coordination with tax consultants, drafting company tax returns as necessary.
- Anticipate and meet legal, schedule, efficiency, and quality requirements in all tasks.
- Review and validate client files for annual accounts, tax returns, legal compliance, and KYC regulations.
- Analyze client needs and difficulties to provide effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Sound knowledge of accounting, tax, and legal principles applicable in Luxembourg, along with antimoney laundering and terrorism financing rules.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, economics, accounting, corporate/commercial law, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of proven experience in financial services, accounting, tax, or trust environment, preferably in a similar position.
