Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, third parties etc.
- Administrative support, such as (but not limited to) invoicing process, followup
- Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Monitor deadlines and handle calendars & agendas
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of daytoday operations of a legal office
- Computer literacy
- Fluent in French
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge for Multiline payment process
- Excellent secretarial and organisational skills
- Ability to handle multiple activities and work under pressure
- University degree in legal and/or secretarial business
